You are viewing an Rev Limitter for a virtually any 4-cylinder, 6-cylinder and Rotary Engine equipped vehicles. The item is designed to prevent over revving by cutting ignition and thus producing an open flame at the exhaust. Please note that the flame will not be produced with vehicles still using the OEM catalytic and those using a silencer at the tip of your aftermarket muffler.
Features:
Cuts ignition on hitting a rev limiter
Fuel cut is not used, therefore flames can appear as fuel is dumped out of the exhaust.
Iginition cut is preferred over fuel cut. Fuel cut, as used on many standard vehicles, risks damage to high performance engines when at high revs.
Ignition cut is used in F1, WR C and other forms of motorsport.
Should only be installed by an experienced mechanic.
The Racing Rev Limiter is suitable for a large rang e of vehicles.
Fitment:
This item is suitable for most Japanese cars, such as fit for NISSAN TOYOTA MAZDA,SUBARU MI TSUBISHI and so on.
It's NOT fit for Honda.
3 Modes Of Adjustment:
1) RED KNOB REV 1:
The Red Knob Sets The Rev Limit
16 Adjustment From 0~F. 0 is 2500 RPM with an increase in 500 RPM for Each Additional Turn in the Knob.
Leaving it At 0 Will Enable The Rev Limit and Fire to Occur as Low as 2500 RPM
2) WHITE KNOB REV 2:
The Signal For The White Knob is Set While The E-BRAKE is Engaged.
3) YELLOW GAIN KNOB:
This knob will increase or decrease the `impact` of the flame/sound from the exhaust. With the setting as zero the item will be turned off and will increase as the knob dial is set.
This is a great unit to stand out at the weekend meets, drag strip, drift competitions or car shows.
